The paper titled Economic impact of student-lecturer relationship in the Federal polytechnic Mubi, Adamawa state. The objectives of the study were to examine the factors that contributed to the student-lecturer relationship and to determine the economic implication of student-lecturer relationship in the study area. The sample size used for the work was 819 respondents and it was sampled through the interview and the questionnaire which is primary data. The technique used to analyse the data was Regression model. The finding of the work is that the major factor that necessitate the student-lecturer relationship is as a result of the low IQ of the students as well as their laziness to study. While in the aspect of the lecturer it was as a result of the low remuneration. The other finding of the study was that the implication of this relationship is sacrifice from both parties which might be either monetary or in kind. The study recommended that the government and other employers of the labour should increase lecturers’ remuneration and as well for students to be serious with their study so as not to solely rely on the assistant from the lecturers.
